Terms & Conditions

You agree to:

  • I agree to pay the tutoring fees on the 1st of every month for the duration of the contract. Without payment, including during holiday periods, I could be at risk of lessons being terminated.
  • Should tutoring be terminated for any reason, Growing Young Minds cannot guarantee that lesson times, teachers or fees will be the same should I wish to return.
  • This tutoring contract will continue in effect until terminated. One full calendar month notice is required by either party. Notice must be received by the last day of the month to terminate the contract at the end of the following month. For example: A termination notice email must be received by the 31st March, the April payment will still be processed on 1st April, and the final lesson of the contract will be during the last week of April. This notice must be given in writing by emailing Sherlyn on admin@gyminds.co.uk.
  • I acknowledge that no refund will be given for a missed session, unless it is due to the tutor’s unavailability where Growing Young Minds will then refund the lesson fee.
  • I agree to support my child's progress at home and work with Growing Young Minds by participating in any additional work set.
  • I agree to be respectful to other parents, children and staff.
  • I understand that Growing Young Minds is open all year round apart from Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year. Self-study for missed lessons (outside of the stated closed periods) can be found on the Google Classroom.
  • I agree to be added to Growing Young Minds mailing list, I understand I can unsubscribe at any time.

What you can expect from us:

  • Growing Young Minds will endeavour to run all lessons as stated in the timetable by covering any teachers holiday or sickness. If lessons do need to be cancelled you will be entitled to a lesson refund.
  • Growing Young Minds will upload self-study into the Google classroom for you to download if required. During closed periods (e.g. Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year) no self-study will be added.
  • Growing Young Minds will work closely with each child’s parent to provide feedback and update them on targets and progress.
  • Growing Young Minds will always provide a confident, honest and friendly service for all children irrespective of age, ability or needs.
